Sports Official

with other officials to maintain control of a game

and listening to concerns of other official, players, and coaches
- resolving
issues concerning a rule or call made by officials
- keeping
time to allotted amount per game
- maintaining
composure even through lack of respect from players and/or coaches
Flag
Football Quarterback
- working
with others to obtain a specific goal
- settle
concerns brought up by teammates
- head
of the offense
- voice
of team’s concerns to officials
- being
able to talk and listen to teammates to ensure everyone was on the same page
- quick
decisions based on observations
- achieving
short-term goal every opportunity (scoring)
- achieving
long-term goal (winning)
- leading
to goal with minimum amount of attempts
- constantly
processing information to find a way to obtain goals more efficiently
- adapting
to conditions as they are presented and working to overcome obstacles
- working
under pressure with little time to make decisions (single play)
- continuous
countdown until consequences are final (entire game)
